My name is Erika. I am a sophomore in college and I am studying the wonderful science of Biology. I absolutely love studying biology and learning everything there is to know about life.
I am also a follower of Jesus Christ, as is evident from my other pages.
I really enjoy writing. There is nothing more comforting or relaxing to me (especially when I am outside on a beautiful day.) Writing is a way to escape the world and create a new or different existence if only for a little while. It is also a great way to preserve little aspects of your life. I plan on continuing my blog through every year of my life and then having it as a sort of time line for when I can no longer remember anything.
I am extremely blessed with loving friends and family. I am privileged to have the most loving and selfless father on the planet. I am so grateful for his influence in my life. When I was little, he took me to church every sunday and taught me to pray every night. He has taught me the difference in right and wrong and shown me by example how to be generous to others.
I have a loving mother. Although we are complete opposites, I am grateful that she cares about me.
I have two awesome brothers and one amazing sister. My sister is a great role-model and friend while my brothers are protective and loving in their own awkward ways. They show their affection in funny ways but never forget to say I love you.
I was also blessed with a great christian community both here at school and back home. I have people that are pouring into my life and accountability partners wherever I go. I also belong to a sorority and I love my sisters more than I thought I ever would. It is truly a honor to be apart of such a great organization and join a sisterhood that will endure all things.
I can never thank God enough for all the wonderful blessings he has placed in my life.
